Thousands of visitors are attracted to the region each year to attend the Art Center's annual events, including the Mendocino Coast Garden Tour in June, the Summer Arts & Crafts Fair in July, the Artists Open Studio Tour in September, and the Thanksgiving Arts & Crafts Fair in November. Artists receptions are held the second Saturday of each month.

The Mendocino Art Center shines its spotlight on the all-media artwork of its contributing members in the Members' Juried Exhibit.
Each year, the Mendocino Art Center presents two members' exhibits featuring the finest works created by the Art Center's contributing members. A highly competitive juried selection process leads to an exceptionally creative, high quality, and much anticipated gallery showing with a wide spectrum of artwork, including paintings, ceramics, sculpture, collage, wearable art, photography and more.

FRESH INVITATIONAL EXHIBIT

FRESH, a contemporary art exhibition, is comprised of work by the 2011-2012 Mendocino Art Center's artists-in-residence, as well as works by selected local and international contemporary artists. The exhibition showcases a range of versatile and current perspectives in various medium including ceramics, media art, jewelry, photography, and paintings.
2nd Saturday Reception: February 11, 6 pm to 9 pm.
On February 18th, 2 pm to 3:30 pm, artist-in-residence Wei Jane Chir will offer tastings of her organic herbal teas with classical Chinese music flutes, Er-hu and Gu-qin , for a unique, traditional and beautiful experience.
Please join us for the closing reception with music by the distinguished Rosey Nolan Band on February 25th, 6 pm to 9 pm.

The Mendocino Art Center hosts a free 2nd Saturday Artists Reception each month. Meet and mingle with the featured gallery artists. Enjoy snacks, wine and, of course, fabulous art. January and February's exhibit features work by Mendocino Art Center's contributing members in the Members' Juried Exhibit.

The Mendocino Art Center celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Mendocino Coast Garden Tour. Enjoy a behind-the-scenes glimpse of some of the Mendocino Coast's most beautiful gardens on this self-guided tour. On Garden Tour day, visit the Garden Shop and Plant Sale at the Art Center.
